Adding Telegram Group Admins & Managing Admin Permissions
Telegram Group admins can be used to police groups of over 200,000 members. Telegram Group admins are great because you can limit their access. You can choose whether your Telegram Group admins have the ability to:
- Information about changing groups
- Delete messages
- Ban users
- Invite users via links
- Pin messages
- Add new administrators
You can set these settings individually. You can also bring in a new administrator to ban users.
To add admin, go to Info > Edit > Administrators > Create Admin. You can manage admin permissions by going to Info > Edit > Administrators > Select the Admin > Toggle Permissions.
Telegram Groups Administration Recent Actions
You may be concerned that admins could take over your Telegram Group and that you won’t know what they are doing. Surprise! Telegram already considered this.
You can view a complete log of all admin changes to the Telegram Group by checking Recent Actions. The Telegram Group’s real-time changelog is called Recent Actions. For the most recent actions, go to Info > Administrators > Latest Actions.
