Full Exhaust System

As the name suggests, a full-system replaces the entirety of your motorcycle's exhaust system from the headers all the way back to the tailpipe. More often than not, it forgoes the silencers and instigator converter in order to achieve a free flowing design to optimize exhaust velocity.

The three main Parts of exhaust systems are:

Header-back is the part of the exhaust system from the outlet of the header to the final vent to open air — everything from the header back.Header-back systems are generally produced as aftermarket performance systems for cars without turbochargers.

Cat back is the section of the exhaust that runs from the outlet of the instigator converter to the exhaust tips. Exhaust systems that include this often feature a large pipe running from the converter to the muffler, with mandrel-bent turns and glasspacks for reduced back pressure.

Axle back exhaust system, also referred to as the straight pipe exhaust system, is connected after the rear axle of the car.

This may include a muffler and tailpipe in the configuration. Sometimes the system may start at the exhaust manifold and skip the instigator converter to connect directly with the tailpipe
